Meeting called to order at 6:30 p.m.

Listers Janet Stowell and Denise Adams updated Selectboard on town reappraisal which is almost complete. Approximately 75% of property owners responded to property inventories. Town has filed for a 30 day extention to submit the Grand List to the State. Listers expect to mail the booklet listing value of all town properties next week. Property owners have 14 days to submit a written appeal. Appeals will be processed during a pre-greviance period, unresolved appeals will be handled by the Board of Civil Authority. Further appeals may be made to the State of Vermont.

Rick Barrows joined meeting at 6:40 p.m.

Discussed need to proceed with repairs to Tucker Hill Bridge. All but $500 will be covered by insurance through Vermont League of Cities and Towns. Motion to accept the bid from Trumbull Nelson for $6962. (Spata/Barrows) unanimous.

Stowell Road Bridge design work is to be completed by October 1. Motion to accept bid from Guertin Elkerton andAssociates to complete design work (Ferguson/Raymond) unanimous.

Vermont Municipal Bond Bank commitment form for $600,000 bond to be signed by Mark McMahon, Chair of Selectboard. Treaurer Roberta Howard will provide separate bank account to have funds deposited directly.

Mark Mc Mahon joined meeting at 7:30 p.m.

Road crew is completing work on Five Corners Road, Academy, New Boston, Ricknell, Gove Hill and Houghton Hill Roads.

Head of the Transportation Board for the State of Vermont Local Roads evaluated Church Lane. Advised town that there is not a sufficient right-of-way nor conditions to meet state standards. The Selectboard also determined that there is not sufficient density of population to warrant taking over Church Lane from a private road to town road.

Northeast Waste Services has been contacted to request that they provide a way to sell Trash Stickers to residents in addition to mail order, for info call 1 800 248 7274 ($2.75 each) Tickets are no longer available for sale at Baker's or Village Stores.

Greater Upper Valley Solid Waste Management District has increased the cost to $3.25 per trash bag and $15 for permit to use facilities in Hartford .

Motion to approve a bronze plaque for Treasure Island for up to $792 (Ferguson/Raymond) unanimous.

Motion to enter executive session at 8:25 p.m. to interview police chief unanimous.

Motion to adjourn executive session at 11:00 p.m. unanimous
